Una vez más, la banda inglesa The Smiths será objeto de tributo. Para el 13 de diciembre se anuncia la edición del próximo homenaje al grupo de Morrissey con Johnny Marr: “Please, Please, Please: A Tribute to The Smiths”.
El disco incluye, entre otros, a Doug Martsch (líder de los excelentes Built to Spill y The Halo Benders), Katy Goodman del trío Vivian Girls y al grupo Sixpence None The Richer (recordados por su single ‘Kiss Me’ y por el cover de The La’s, ‘There She Goes’).
Disueltos en 1987, tras apenas cinco años de carrera, los influyentes The Smiths acumulan varios compilados tributo a su haber, como los álbumes “The World Still Won’t Listen”, “Cover Star” y “Stop Me If You Think”.
